The question of the morning on C-Span’s Washington Journal a few days ago was whether the guardians of people with dementia should be allowed to cast their votes for them.

Anyone who thinks this election offers a sensible choice or that their vote matters suffers a detectable degree of mental impairment.

The question should have been “Is it wise for a nation of lunatics to possess nuclear weapons?”
