It doesn’t take a political scientist, or a Peter Beinart, to figure out why Democrats have been reduced to a sad joke by the GOP.

If you want to thwart the Republican Party then look to the companies who donate to them.
Tell THEM you want an increase to the minimum wage.
Tell THEM to stop social security piratization and instead lift the limit of taxable income for the FICA tax which will keep social security solvent.
Tell THEM you want to repeal the faulty prescription drug law and replace it with a real prescription drug benefit that covers 80 percent of medication cost.
Tell THEM you remain outraged about the 2004 stolen election in Ohio.
They put the Republicans into office. Tell THEM what you want and boycott THEM until you get what you want. Join together and use the power of your purchases to get what you want in congress.
Join the revolution for progressive legislation

Please call a Wendy’s restaurant LOCAL to you and tell them that you will not go to their restaurant ever again UNLESS they can get their CEO to get a revote in Ohio by speaking to Kenneth Blackwell the secretary of State of Ohio.
Similarly call an Outback Steakhouse local to you and tell them you will not go to their restaurant ever again unless they get their CEO to get a revote in Florida by speaking to Glenda Hood, the secretary of State of Florida.
Thank you

Of course, a day’s work deserves a living wage, but how do you do this without closing shops or raising the cost of goods? If Democrats are sincere, and judging from their records have done little more than pay it lip service, where are the polls asking the same Americans who now purchase their fast food burgers by the pound if they will sit-still on their cellulite-ridden behinds for higher prices? Aren’t you putting the cow before the cart?
Lift the limit of taxable income for the FICA tax which will keep social security solvent? When did SS become insolvent, according to the Democrats? And if it is, I’d prefer to keep and invest my own money, not give more of it to incompetent managers.
Medicare is the problem and these geniuses figure we should devise another Ponzi scheme that would cover 80 percent of prescription costs. Why aren’t “progressives” demanding universal health care? Investigating the marketing strategies of pharmaceutical companies who create disease then develop a drug to cure it? But even more suspect is why businesses aren’t campaigning for it. Not a year goes by when my company’s benefits representative doesn’t decry the high cost of health care, 20 million last year by his account, as the reason for raising the personal cost of my coverage. Doesn’t common sense suggest that the middle man is never bereft of companionship?
Is it just me, or does it seem more effort was put into the after-election campaign to count-the-vote, than was put into fixing the bugs that would cause these concerns? Where is the petition for a paper trail and where were the Democrats over the past 4-years if not demanding there be one?
To stop the illegal occupation of Iraq, and to get resolution of all of these issues, both parties should be boycotted.
