The blog-o-sphere is boiling at the cruel beating of a female protester by Egyptian military police, who continued battling protesters in Tahrir Square on Sunday. The clashes, into their third day now, have left 10 people dead and hundreds injured. The video uploaded on YouTube Sunday reveals the extreme cruelty of the country’s law enforcers during the crackdown. The army soldiers in full riot gear have been savagely beating a seemingly unconscious female protester with big sticks, kicking her and stomping on her chest. Security forces lashed out ruthlessly on armless civilians and burned down tents that had been put up by activists outside the parliament building to camp in protest against the military rule. The internet community therefore questions the methods of the military regime who took over power after the ousting of the ex-President Hosni Mubarak in February.

Hi, Y’all. Yep, now I understand the jokes I heard from Muslim classmates in school years ago. “Beat your woman daily,—if you don’t know why, she will”. and, “A woman is like a rug,—it gets better when walked on often”. Sort of getting the thinking of some state militia men as well, concerning the logic behind a regulated citizens’ militia. Sad that so many of the latter are obese, toothless, loudmouth wanabees. Perhaps there should be PE requirements for membership, beyond an oath, a rifle and ammo. Fortunately, I’ve also met lots of lean and mean folks so inclined, who speak softly, and know their sticks. Also, it’d be great to have our militia more involved in community volunteer work, as a few are now doing. What better way to dispel the media biases one hears concerning these decent Americans of constitutional conviction?
Cowards with weapons. Notice more of the pigs went after the woman and only one stayed to beat the man. There is nothing worse than a coward with a weapon. The Bush/Chaney administration is a perfect display of that.
