Expressing Outrage At Their Decision To Ban The Flotilla

In light of the Government in Cyprus banning the Flotilla from entering it’s coastal waters, please find a template letter that you can send to the Government in Cyprus, and to their officials.
Copy and paste this letter, copy and paste the e mail addresses which are below the letter. Then add your name, and send.
To whom it may concern:
I, (insert your name ) am writing this letter to you to express my disgust at the decision, made by the Cypriot government, to ban the international humanitarian flotilla to Gaza from gathering in your waters. This decision is absurd as it’s only likely outcome will be to delay the arrival of much needed aid to a population under siege.
There is a dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. 1.5 million people are suffering on a daily basis due to the three year blockade imposed and enforced by Israel, and now endorsed by Cyprus.
The only possible reason for this move is pressure from the Israeli government for you to take part in their illegal and immoral punishment of a civilian population which will give a very negative image of Cyprus’ to the international community watching these events unfold.
I plan on informing all I can about this decision and encourage people to consider future investment and visits to Cyprus. I am disappointed that a ‘civilised’ government can so cheaply sell humanity and I’m sure the 30 pieces of silver from the pirates of the Mediterranean will be long spent before this move is forgotten.
