Rained out of Smoky Mountain National Park, Bush and his Tennessee delegation pose alongside Air Force One on Earth Day. George takes credit for reducing the ozone layer yet according to The New Scientist, a nearly 40% reduction is due the gigantic solar ice storms of November 2004.

Robert Kennedy, Jr. appeared on Real Time to talk about Earth Day and the Bush energy bill, what he calls a $22 billion boondoggle for oil companies, an industry the WSJ says is enjoying record profits.

Kevin Carson follows-up on an earlier Kennedy post and makes some very interesting points about the ineffectiveness of gov’t regulation.
