Voting 220 to 195, House Republicans pushed through their ethics change, effectively guaranteeing no GOP lowlife on their watch will ever face inquiry, by God, so long as they can strongarm members of their party from voting for an investigation.
According to Rep. David Dreier, chairman of the Rules Committee, “This change restores the presumption of innocence in our process.“

“Dr. Frist said he would no longer allow Democrats to filibuster any of President Bush’s judicial nominees.
