Medea Benjamin was carried off the Democrats’ convention floor by Boston police for unfurling a sign that said “End the Occupation of Iraq” during Teresa Heinz Kerry’s speech.
So much for championing the opinions of women!
According to Code Pink only pre-approved messages are allowed on the floor and Kucinich supporters wearing scarves declaring “delegates for peace” were told to remove them. How subversive!
I wonder if this will change Benjamin’s plans to support Kerry?
