Lie, Starve then Destroy: It’s the American way

Inside Story – Arab League action? – 31 Dec 08 – Part 1 | Part 2

The recurring manifestation of a blatantly criminal template for waging “war” – deploying propaganda blitzkriegs, softening targets by imposing economic blockades, starvation sanctions, fostering internecine conflicts, all followed-up by the monstrous bloodletting of shock and awe – is the work of sociopaths. But when it furthers the wanton destruction of Palestine to create a “Greater Israel” – crimes against humanity in the name of Zionism – the strategy is ignored or excused.

Just as Jewish anarchists and labour activists suspended philosophical tenets and critical thinking to ship arms to terrorist gangs in Palestine, enabling rape, murder and land theft for the purpose of establishing a theocratic state, “progressive” liberals now transition smoothly from vilifying the government for occupying Iraq and torturing at will to remaining silent as it occupies, tortures and eradicates Palestinians.

Guest panelist [Inside Story – Arab League action? – 31 Dec 08 – Part 1] Abdul-Bari Atwan, editor of al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper, comments on the usual role Arab leaders play in these crime sprees, turning the perfunctory blind eye as the Israelis murder with impunity, and he points out these leaders have been imposed not elected through a democratic process.

If the U.S. removed mechanisms it maintains to support Arab regimes any fair and democratic process that attempts to thrive in their place would be crushed as it is now in Gaza. The U.S. exports kleptocracy not liberty. It grooms lawyers to wrap crimes in new laws it then defines as justice, it does not promote the universally accepted version of it. Abiding faith in the democratic process languishes on hope’s summit.

Americans are stuffed full of propaganda from the cradle to the grave, free to waddle from one crisis to another in directions chosen for them by the government and its private contractors, spoon-fed opinions, beliefs, and given an electric jolt when they wander off the reservation. The inside track is reserved for grateful co-conspirators and legacy appointments. The serfs peck each other’s eyes out boiling mad with worry over mounting credit debt and increasing irrelevance in a global economy. It is safer to re-invest in the old and reject the new unfolding reality.

So there will be no investigations or debates on conflicts of interest when an influential political pundit names a child after an underground terrorist who authored the Jordanian option, and a popular webzine, recently endowed with $25 million dollars, puts disclaimers on fact-filled articles written by Palestinians.

Pity the poor ravaged world if these hypocrites represent the best and brightest of humanity, as Bibi Netanyahu would have one believe. Netanyahu‘s burning up the internet selling his message of change, likely under the direction of Obama campaign advisers who now work for him.

Because the majority of Israelis already see it Bibi’s way, Tzipi Livni pledged to deliver the same change well before she began massacring the defenseless people of Gaza:

“And among other things I will also be able to approach the Palestinian residents of Israel, those whom we call Arab Israelis, and tell them: ‘your national aspirations lie elsewhere.'”

And Bibi screamed, “I am not one of the men who allow themselves to say, ‘It is impossible.’ It must be possible. For Germany must live.” Or was it Hitler.
