Say what you will about the attention this subject is finally getting, but I think it speaks to a much deeper issue which is the recurring inability of George Bush to reconcile his concept of reality with a universal truth. He reminds me of a child who denies eating cookies when the crumbs are still stuck to his lips.

Thousands have died because George ‘knows better’ than the truth. It’s not a trivial matter.

And if Daniel James was involved in the cover-up, it’s a national security scandal.
