Coalition of the willing?

Al-Muhajabah posted an excerpt from a Kucinich press release following the recent Planned Parenthood forum in New Hampshire. It was in part a response to the statements made by John Kerry, Wesley Clark, and Howard Dean supporting the idea that 18-year-old women should be required to register for the military draft.

Unlike Kucinich I think the elimination of draft registration should occur immediately, not eventually. I am opposed to conscription most especially during times of war. If the cause is just, the recruiters will have no problem enlisting the willing.

If you’re unwillingly caught up in a draft, perhaps after the 2004 election, you might find this page useful.
