An internet friend whose writing I’ve admired for some time and been urging to start a blog has done so. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you check it out. My friend is also notoriously remiss in checking his e-mail so I don’t exactly have his permission to link to his site yet. If he protests I’ll comply and remove it but he shouldn’t write such compelling stuff and expect me to keep it to myself. Grab the link while you can before false modesty and a monthly glance at his mail results in his asking me to disconnect.
A different friend whom I’ve failed to sell on blogging tells me that AntiWar.com Blog has linked to me. Wow. So nice and so weird, I am truly not worthy, but thanks very much.
Check out Sam Koritz’s post there about nuclear proliferation and the effects of the Bush Doctrine.
Finally, yet another friend who resides in the UK tells me they were actually considering having boyking George ride through the streets of London in Queen Elisabeth’s glass carriage. Maybe Rove et. al. resented Queen Elisabeth sharing the ride and the moment but according to my friend he believes the idea has been nixed.
I look forward to his comments on king George’s ‘reception’ and a return to blogging, since I miss his writing terribly.
Deliver your message to this person Bush yourself.
Hopefully everyone in the UK will come out at one or other, or many, of the events being arranged for the visit of this person Bush and give him a right Royal welcome.
Here is his itinerary

Treat him to a wall of sound. Let’s leave him with memories of his visit to his subservient allies. I hope that if he forgets everything else in life he will always remember the greeting he gets here.
Thanks for taking a respite from your painfully long absence from blogging to link us up. Hope to hear more from you soon.
