A Gush Shalom delegation sat together with Jerusalem-based Palestinians, Hamas parliament members who face deportation. It was a few days before the weekend massacre wiping out nearly a whole family on the Gaza beach which ended the Hamas self-imposed unilateral cease-fire. Sheikh Abu-Teir and Ahmad Atun had told us that after one and a half year Hamas was still waiting for a counter gesture to that cease-fire…. The press which is so eager to publish hatred-news ignored our press release about this visit. It’s there on our website to read. (English – Hebrew)
