Wesley Clark’s ‘High Noon’

Katrina vanden Heuvel expresses well how I’m feeling about Wesley Clark at this moment.

I would like to get behind a Clark presidential campaign in a meaningful way. He has an easy way about him that comes across well on camera, he’s bright and articulate wouldn’t that be nice for a change, and he does seem genuinely concerned about the way in which this administration has intentionally misled the American people trampling our rights and those of others along the way.

So noon tomorrow he announces and the quest begins for Clark and for those like me who will be very interested in how he fares along the way. He’s a welcome addition to the lineup.

Rangel is backing him and while I’m not quite in tune with the ‘mind, body and soul’ portion of the following comment, I completely agree with the reason he resents Gephardt.

“I can give my heart and mind and body to Dick Gephardt,” Rangel said. “But personally, the way he handled the war and support of the president makes it difficult. I feel comfortable we can go with the general.”
