Once upon a time in a country called Iraq there was an election. In a far away land, called the United States of America, a stuttering dolt named Junior hailed these elections as a victory.
However, the damned Iraqis overwhelmingly voted in some people Junior and his wealthy business friends don’t cotton to.
So, Junior and Co. are now aligning with the Sunni minority and the same insurgents they’ve been claiming all along are the reason U.S. troops must remain in Iraq indefinitely, to overthrow the new gov’t they say the U.S. illegally invaded Iraq to free the people to elect.
Now that Newsweek is reporting it, do you suppose people other than Gareth Porter and a few others might actually start speaking about it?
“We do not negotiate with terrorists. We put them out of business.”
Unless of course that business agrees to positioning Americans on its board of directors.
