Eric Garris: AP Pulls Iran Nukes Story After Antiwar.com Exposé

Associated Press issued a story yesterday (Monday) entitled “Iran moves closer to nuke warhead capacity.” It was full of inaccurate and misleading information implying that Iran had admitted trying to enrich weapons-grade nuclear material. The story appeared on a wide variety of media.

Last night, Antiwar.com news editor Jason Ditz issued a story refuting the AP story.

    It’s a re-run of the nonsense we experienced in regards to Iraq. Iran is going to purify Uranium up to 20% for medical reasons to treat cancer sufferers. It would need to be refined up to 90% for nukes. The problem is that these lies get repeated over and over and unfortunately some people believe it’s reality, especially in the USA.
