I agree with organisations like the Parents Television Council that cable customers are forced to support offensive channels if they want to view those they like. So why do they still subscribe?
In the years since receiving the Silver Sewer Award from Bill Bennett and Joe Lieberman in 1999, the stink of Rupert Murdoch’s programming has grown even fouler. 6 out of 10 shows on PTCP’s Worst Shows list are FOX productions and dubiously occupy the first four slots. So will these folks finally boycott the sleaze king en masse if he refuses to offer an acceptable family-tier package or continue to hold their noses?
