I missed the flap about Hugo Chavez’ alleged anti-Semitism. I missed this one as well. On 29 November, International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan was photographed in front of a map of mandatory Palestine in 1948. Bloggers noticed it recently, John Bolton joined in the fray, all of them furious with Annan for denying the existence of Israel. The UN has apologised.
Annan should now apologise to the Palestinians for once again proving he is little more than an enabler of apartheid and ethnic cleansing. Posing in front of this map would be a start:
