One Response to Sundance Chief to Fast at White House in Honor of Leonard Peltier: Seeks meeting with President Obama

  1. Monica says:

What a terrible childhood memory for Arlette. What a brave woman to stand up and let the world know the terror of the Incident at Oglala. People need to hear more about the horrific events that took place back at that time with the BIA, Goons, FBI, etc. so they can understand the seriousness of the way of life that was happening on the Reservation at that time, and how it lead up to the fatal shootings which put Leonard Peltier in prison. These stories need to be sent directly to the President, so he will understand why clemency for Leonard Peltier should be granted. All he did was take a stand for the Native Americans that desperately needed help to curb the violence and corruption that was going on. If the Goons can be forgiven, why can’t Leonard Peltier be forgiven for just doing the right thing in helping those people survive the Reign of terror. The healing starts with Leonard Peltier’s Freedom.
