Hal Turner called her ‘a violent, black, racist, bitch’ whose lynching would teach other Blacks that ‘white people are tired of your bullshit, behave or die’

Visiting the Bay Area on a five-day fundraising tour for the SF Bay View, former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney joins Bay View publisher Willie Ratcliff at a gathering Friday, Aug. 21, at the Black Dot in West Oakland. Two days later, on Aug. 23, she learned that a “journalist” who had called for her lynching in 2006 was working at the time for the FBI. – Photo: Kamau Amen-Ra
“[I]t has just now come to my attention that a ‘journalist’ who suggested that I be lynched was actually being paid by our own government to say that. Now, when I reported it to the FBI, how in the world was I to know that he was at that time on the FBI’s payroll?”
“Hate blogger” Hal Turner’s lawyer said last week, and prosecutors agreed, that Turner was “trained by the FBI on how to be deliberately provocative” and “worked for the FBI from 2002 to 2007 as an ‘agent provocateur’ and was taught by the agency ‘what he could say that wouldn’t be crossing the line.’”
According to this article: Hal Turner worked for the FBI as an ‘agent provocateur’ to basically publish information that might cause other parties to act in a manner which would lead to their arrest.
One must wonder, how many other FBI ‘agent provocateurs’ at this moment might be agitating Muslims, right-wing extremists and others to commit serious crimes against Americans.
When FBI ‘agent provocateur’ Hal turner allegedly mentioned lynching Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, wasn’t it foreseeable to the FBI that might cause an extremist to harm Cynthia in some manner? The FBI’s distribution of hate information through an “Agent Provocateur”, is a method used by terrorists to motivate “lone wolfs” and members of leaderless groups to commit crimes that could include murder? Were the alleged actions of FBI ‘agent provocateur’ Hal Turner regarding Cynthia McKinney, representative of FBI policy, to intimidate or coerce Black and other civilian populations: or the work of a shadow government operating with its own agenda? Americans deserve an answer to that question.
Ironically the FBI/U.S. Justice after targeting Cynthia McKinney, in 2007 supported several pieces of anti-terrorist legislation to protect Americans from the same criminal acts, the FBI appears to have promoted using Hal Turner, e.g., see SB 1959 “The Prevention of Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Act”; referred to by Americans, as the “Thought Crime Bill.”
After revelations of an FBI Agent Provocateur targeting Cynthia McKinney, one can’t help recall the FBI’s investigative role in the 1993 Bombing of the World Trade Center: it was reported an FBI informant used a taping device provided by the FBI to also tape the FBI: recordings that allegedly revealed the informant urging the FBI to prevent the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993. One reference: see Los Angles Times article on 10/28/93 address this issue.
Government informants are out of control: Congress needs to pass legislation that provides stronger oversight of government informants. It appears obvious there is little or no prudent oversight of informants by police and government agencies. And too frequently informants lie to please their handlers.
