Olympia Food Co-op Boycotts Israeli Goods!
Now We Need Your Help!
Just last week the Board of Directors of the Olympia Food Co-op in Olympia, WA, the hometown of Rachel Corrie, took the courageous step of instituting a boycott of Israeli goods, the first grocery boycott of Israel in the US.
Already, there is a movement afoot to condemn the Co-op for taking this important stand. Please help us thank the Olympia Food Co-op and its board of directors for supporting human rights in Palestine!

Olympia BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) is a grassroots network of community members in Olympia, WA, joining the call by Palestinian civil society for a non-violent, global movement of boycott, divestment, and sanctions of Israel, until it meets the requirements of human rights and international law.
In answering to the Palestinian Call, we stand with Desmond Tutu, Naomi Klein, Elvis Costello, Richard Falk and many, many others. The failure of elected officials to hold Israel accountable for its atrocious actions forces global civil society to act, for a non-violent solution and justice for Palestinians and Israelis alike.

Wish I was in Olympia. I’d shop there every day. Good for them having the courage to stand up to Israel and the powerful American Jewish lobby.
A friend of mine just pointed me to this website about the grocery boycott. Way to go Olympia Co-op. I’m in Bangkok, Thailand so we don’t have as many Israeli products here as in the US, but I check labels on everything and never buy anything from Israel. Wish more Americans were like the Olympia Co-op. Good job you guys and off to sign the petition 🙂
Sorry but this is rank hypocrisy. Where were was this outfit when Palestinian militants slaughtered Israeli schoolchildren in Ma’alot, murdered Israeli Olympic athletes, murdered a wheelchair bound Jewish man on the Achille Lauro, murdered old men at prayer in Paris or on scads of other occasions. Reality is there are millionaire Palestinians who couldn’t care less about their brothers and oil wealthy Arab countries who cry crocodile tears as they use needy Palestinians for propaganda. As to that powerful Jewish lobby, it does not come close to the mostly Saudi financed operation on Capitol Hill, Patton Boggs.
By the way, you can pray at a mosque in Israel, but you cannot find a synagogue in Saudi Arabia and its friends’ countries from whom 800,000 Jews were expelled.
