\nWe condemn the assassination of Roger Ivan Bados<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ayer s\u00e1bado 11 de Julio a eso de las 8:00 de la noche fue asesinado el compa\u00f1ero Roger Iv\u00e1n Bados en la Colonia 6 de Mayo, sector Rivera Hern\u00e1ndez, por hombres armados que llegaron a asesinarlo a su casa de habitaci\u00f3n. Roger Bados, como le conoc\u00edamos, ha sido militante activo del Bloque Popular en el Valle de Sula, destacado miembro del partido Unificaci\u00f3n Democr\u00e1tica (UD), muy reconocido por su beligerancia en la d\u00e9cada de los ochenta como dirigente del desaparecido Sindicato de Trabajadores de Textiles de Honduras (SITRATEXHONSA), miembro de la Candidatura Independiente Popular como regidor a la Corporaci\u00f3n Municipal de la ciudad de San Pedro Sula, defensor de los derechos y causas justas del pueblo hondure\u00f1o trabajador y militante de todas las manifestaciones de resistencia desarrolladas en los \u00faltimos 13 d\u00edas realizadas en esta ciudad contra el golpe de estado ocurrido el pasado 28.<\/p>\n

Saturday, July 11 at 8pm, compa\u00f1ero Roger Ivan Bados was assassinated by armed men who came to his home for that purpose. Roger Bados, has been an active member of the Popular Block (Bloque Popular) in the Valley of Sula, an outstanding member of the Democratic Unficiation Party (UD), very recognized for his combativeness in the 80’s, as a leader of the now defunct, Union of Textile Workers of Honduras (SITRATEXHONSA), a member of the Independent Popular Candidacy on the Council of the Municipal Corporation of the City of San Pedro Sula, defender of the rights and just causes of the Honduran people, a worker for and activist in all the demonstrations of resistence organized in the last 13 days in this city against the coup d’etat that occurred on the 28th.<\/p>\n

El asesinato de Roger Bados, se da en momentos de grave crisis pol\u00edtica que vive Honduras y en condiciones altamente de persecuci\u00f3n y represi\u00f3n desatadas por el Gobierno de facto contra los dirigentes populares en todo el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

The assassination of Roger Bados, occurs in moments of a grave political crises in Honduras and in conditions of extreme persecution and repression by the de facto Government against the peoples’ leaders in the whole country.<\/p>\n

Desde el Frente Nacional Contra el Golpe de Estado, hacemos llegar nuestras condolencias a la familia doliente con quienes nos solidarizamos, al tiempo que condenamos este hecho, \u00e9l que exigimos se investigue, detenga y ponga a la orden de los tribunales a los autores materiales e intelectuales de este cruel asesinato contra el Compa\u00f1ero Roger Iv\u00e1n Bados.<\/p>\n

From the National Front Against the Coup d’Etat, we send our condolences to the mourning family with whom we are in solidarity, and we demand an investigation, and that the material and intellectual authors of this cruel assassination against Compa\u00f1ero Roger Iv\u00e1n Bados be arrested and taken to justice before the Tribunals.<\/p>\n

Llamamos al pueblo Hondure\u00f1o a continuar participando e incorpor\u00e1ndose en todas las actividades de resistencia, hasta en tanto no se restituya el orden constitucional y los golpistas abandonen el poder al que llegaron mediante la usurpaci\u00f3n.
\nWe call on the Honduran people to continue participating and to incorporate yourselves in all of the resistence activities until the constitutional order is restored and the golpistas abandon the power they usurped.<\/p>\n
