People<\/a> who believe obfuscation of facts and egregious wrongs makes America more secure hinge their argument on the fallacy the U.S. can manufacture propaganda globally that will circumvent the present and erase memories. American revisionism doesn’t sell well beyond the few million natives who wallow in it.<\/p>\n

The U.S. could never convince the world black is white, people living these realities will never be silent. To insist America’s citisens remain ignorant of their grievances is the real treason.<\/p>\n

The ACLU<\/a> has “obtained evidence (pdf<\/a>) that confirms the FBI and local police, working through Joint Terrorism Task Forces, are spying on political, environmental, anti-war and faith-based groups.” As part of a nationwide<\/a> effort to determine who is being investigated and the reasons, complaints are being filed under the FOIA. How many Americans must be investigated, imprisoned, or killed before the willfully ignorant feel “safe”? Will they ever?<\/p>\n
