I began to suspect it would play out this way while viewing “Faith in the White House” which aired on Link TV this weekend. <\/p>\n
My first real indication they’d succeeded beyond expectations in their efforts to rally single-issue voters to the polls was at work yesterday when people suddenly wanted to talk about the election. But the talk of the break room wasn’t about the occupation of Iraq, the economy, loss of jobs, or healthcare, it was God, Guns, and Gays.<\/p>\n
It’s a relief that the secret is finally out. And if I were someone who lusted for theocracy, or for resurrection of American exceptionalism, I too would have been reluctant to brandish faith in the faux-Christ George as the reason for their establishment. At least now, in their victory, the hidden agenda has seen the light of day.<\/p>\n
The real test for the wise ones, I think, will be in the faithfull’s willingness to make real sacrifices for the cause. So far it’s been all about power, the desire for it, and the euphoria of its promise.<\/p>\n
Their ultimate goal is an impossible dream, and they’re mistaken if they think the election results are a nightmare for those who have never been asleep, or that those who’ve been strategically isolated will lick their wounds and later come around to their way of thinking out of fear or loneliness. If permanent war is still on their agenda, they’ll have to rouse the vulgar and convince them to sacrifice and die for their cause, and these people they’ve chosen to incite prefer to delegate the heavy lifting to others, including their soon-to-be oppressed liberal inferiors. <\/p>\n
