University of Miami Convocation Center Kerry even mentioned the 14 bases being built in Iraq as if<\/a> he and his advisors have never expressed a desire for the United States to maintain an Iraq presence. Certainly he really means he would not maintain such an overtly bullying presence since he also said:<\/p>\n “And our goal in my administration would be to get all of the troops out of there with a minimal amount you need for training and logistics as we do in some other countries in the world after a war to be able to sustain the peace.<\/p>\n But that’s how we’re going to win the peace, by rapidly training the Iraqis themselves.” <\/p>\n It has to be frustrating for both camps to concoct a plan of the day and<\/em> maintain some semblance of truth when events on the ground dispel the wishfull thinking<\/a> behind their rhetoric that America’s only aim is to bestow democracy upon the Iraqis.<\/p>\n If John Kerry intends to bring truth to this campaign he should at least recognise that Iraqis want us out of their country<\/a>.
