What a sad moment! What a horrible thing Israel is doing to Gaza. And the world turns a blind eye!<\/p>\n

I have scanned the major newspapers in England and the US, as well as Reuters and CNN for reports on Gaza. But apart from the Israeli press, nothing current is available, that is, to what is happening at this very moment. The lights are out. Gazans are having a candle-light march to protest the closing down of electricity, and fearing their fate.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t understand why the media neglects so juicy a story. It is clear now why the Israeli military (with the collaboration of the government) has avoided a major incursion! And why the government has refused to build shelters for the qassamed people in Sderot, telling them instead to bolster their courage, and learn to endure! Of course, now it\u2019s clear. There is no need for IOF incursions. There is a devilish plan instead. Let the people in Gaza starve to death. Let infants in incubators die as their cribs turn cold. Much cheaper getting rid of Palestinians by a slow and painful genocide than risking IOF soldiers\u2019 lives and equipment! And if you kill them all, there will be no more qassams. I would not bet on the qassams ending, however. There will be others to take up the cause, even if Israel kills every last Gazan.<\/p>\n

So Many Tragedies in Such Little Time<\/font>

Where to start\u2026, what to talk about\u2026? The crippling electricity shortages, affecting hospitals as well as civilians? The air strikes & on-going, daily bombings by the Israeli army, their indiscriminate targeting of civilians and police stations\u2026? Israel\u2019s non-accidental, enforced starvation of 1.5 million people by closing off ALL borders and not allowing in even UN aid, let alone basic medicinal, food, and construction needs\u2026?<\/p>\n

Shortages of fuel have re-surfaced in Gaza: most of Gaza has no electricity and even more importantly, the shortage of medicine in Palestinian hospitals continues to increase, with the Ministry of Health reporting a looming humanitarian catastrophe.<\/p>\n

Or should I begin with the bomb which just hit a wedding close to the Ministry of Interior building in Gaza City, with 15 apartment buildings within the bomb\u2019s target range? One woman was killed and 47 others were injured \u2013mostly children and women who had been inside their homes or playing on the street!! Scenes of children injured, bleeding and crying just moments after they had been enjoying a wedding celebration in a Gaza wedding hall\u2026a horrific sight likely to go without mention of that in most news sources.<\/p>\n
