Bisharat discusses Judge Richard Goldstone&#8217;s April 1,  2011 op-ed in The Washington Post in which he reconsidered elements of  the report that he and three other investigators submitted to the UN  about Israel&#8217;s late 2008 Gaza offensive, &#8220;Operation Cast Lead.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He  also discusses a March, 2011 conference he helped organize at  UC-Hastings College of Law. The conference, &#8220;Litigating Palestine,&#8221; was  about using courts to advance the cause of justice for Palestinians. At  the eleventh hour, the school&#8217;s board of directors officially dropped  its association with the event and forbade the dean from delivering a  welcome address.
