Ganser talks to Tania G\u00e1lvez San Jos\u00e9 about the strategy of tension, \u2018false flag\u2019 terrorism and how NATO \u2014 under the auspices of US and Western European intelligence services, including MI6 \u2014 organised secret armies in Europe from 1944 until the early 1990s, recruiting neo-fascists and ultra-right wingers to infiltrate and discredit the European extra-parliamentary left, spread \u2018black propaganda\u2019 and organise and implement terrorist acts falsely attributable to libertarian extra-parliamentarians with the sole purpose of creating a climate of fear to justify \u2018muscular government\u2019, the introduction of repressive legislation to \u2018suppress subversion\u2019 and \u2018the enemies of the status quo\u2019and contain any \u2018drift\u2019 to the left.<\/p>\n
