{"id":14690,"date":"2010-09-25T17:36:44","date_gmt":"2010-09-25T23:36:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/karmalised.com\/?p=14690"},"modified":"2010-09-25T17:36:44","modified_gmt":"2010-09-25T23:36:44","slug":"jason-ditz-fbi-launching-mass-raids-of-antiwar-activists%e2%80%99-homes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/karmalised.com\/?p=14690","title":{"rendered":"Jason Ditz: FBI Launching Mass Raids of Antiwar Activists\u2019 Homes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Insists Raids Are Related to &#8216;Material Support for Terrorism&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>by Jason Ditz, Antiwar.com, <a href=\"http:\/\/news.antiwar.com\/2010\/09\/24\/fbi-launching-mass-raids-of-antiwar-activists-homes\/\">24 September 2010<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The FBI is confirming that this morning they began a number of  \u201craids\u201d against the homes of antiwar activists, claiming that they are \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/news\/chi-ap-mn-fbiraid-terrorism,0,3678321.story\">seeking evidence relating to activities concerning the material support of terrorism<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So far there do not appear to have been any arrests related to the raids nor, according to FBI spokesman Steve Warfield, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twincities.com\/ci_16164223?nclick_check=1\">are there any expected<\/a>. He also insisted that there was \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/39345147\/ns\/us_news-security\/\">no imminent threat<\/a>\u201d  related to the antiwar organization targeted.
