So why do they still subscribe?<\/p>\n<p>In the years since receiving the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aim.org\/media_monitor\/A3216_0_2_0_C\/\">Silver Sewer Award<\/a> from Bill Bennett and Joe Lieberman in 1999, the stink of Rupert Murdoch&#8217;s programming has grown even fouler.  6 out of 10 shows on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parentstv.org\/PTC\/publications\/reports\/top10bestandworst\/main.asp\">PTCP&#8217;s Worst Shows list<\/a> are FOX productions and dubiously occupy the first four slots.  So <a href=\"rtsp:\/\/video.c-span.org\/15days\/e011906_decency.rm\">will<\/a> these folks <a href=\"http:\/\/www.capitalnews.org\/archive\/index3.asp?ArcDate=1\/19\/2006\">finally boycott<\/a> the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.commondreams.org\/headlines04\/1221-09.htm\">sleaze king<\/a> en masse if he refuses to offer an acceptable family-tier package or continue to hold their noses?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I agree with organisations like the Parents Television Council that cable customers are forced to support offensive channels if they want to view those they like.
