Iran has warned Israel<\/a> against attacking its nuclear installations as it did Iraq’s in 1981.<\/p>\n

This is likely a reaction to Sharon’s August 13 visit to the White House when the prime minister, accompanied by his military secretary Maj. Gen. Yoav Galant, made a fevered pitch to Bush & Co. warning against Iran’s imminent threat.<\/p>\n

You probably can skip the article if you’ve been following the Iraq case closely since it reads like a blueprint for it applied to Iran.<\/p>\n

Except for the author’s observation that the tone of the presentation signals Israel might be planning<\/a> a bit of pre-emptive striking themselves. It would help to make an informed opinion if one were to know how many nukes Israel possesses, but for some odd reason they aren’t expected to share that information or made to give them up.<\/p>\n
