Mullen sketches out ‘US strike’ on Iran

“We have the capacity to do it but we are stretched. My ground forces are very stressed, very worn… On the other hand we’ve got a very strong strategic reserve in our Air Force and in our Navy and in fact that’s a part of the world, it’s a maritime part of the world, where the emphasis would certainly be on those two forces,” explained Adm. Mullen.

His remarks come as Israeli Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi is currently in the US to discuss “the Iranian threat” with the heads of the defense establishment and the US Secretary of State’s special adviser for the Persian Gulf and Southwest Asia, Dennis Ross, according to Israeli media.

Solidarity with Tristan Anderson and Palestine | Embassy Protests

Solidarity with Tristan AndersonTristan Anderson is currently in intensive care. On 13 March he was observing a nonviolent demonstration against the annexation wall in the West Bank village of Ni’lin when he was shot in the head by Israeli forces with a high-speed tear-gas canister.

A protest is being organised for Monday, 16 March 2009, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm, at the Israeli Consulate in San Francisco located at 456 Montgomery.

Caught on Video: “Aim to the Face and Shoot”

On Friday 13, 2009 American Citizen Tristan Anderson was shot in the head by a Tear Gas Canister fired by Israeli Occuption Forces in the Village in Nil’in, Palestine.

As evidenced by this video Israeli Forces routinely aim for the faces of non-violent protesters.

40 Arrested, Scores Beaten, Dozens of Homes Invaded in Beit Ommar

Scores of soldiers, many with faces painted or ski masks on, began breaking into homes at approximately 1am, tearing rooms apart, breaking furniture, computers, and other electronics, and arresting men aged 11-80.
