Terror Alerts Manufactured?

Do you remember that article that came out in January? I revisit it now and again. Freddie Mac aftershock aside, the article has stood the test of time.

There was the ‘dirty bomb alert’ based on fabricated information that oh so conveniently came out just before the February antiwar demos.

The duct tape scandal that helped no one but the Republican campaign contributers who manufactured the products.

And now Ashcroft is warning airlines to be suspicious of small electronics and children’s toys. Okay. Let’s assume the screeners weren’t suspicious of them before and this alert serves a useful purpose in that respect.

But where’s the story in USA Today about Australia’s reaction to this new advisory?
