Joe Scarborough Walks Off MSNBC’s “Race to the White House” After Exchange With Rachel Maddow

Scarborough’s “Morning Joe” co-host, Mika Brzezinski, should follow Maddow’s lead and refuse to enable the short-tempered bully. Why does Brzezinski pander to him? Learned behaviour or job insecurity?
With any luck Joe Scarborough is gone for good. His constant interruptions and browbeating of anyone who has the nerve to disagree with him are very tiring. I quit watching his morning show because of his obnoxious behavior, and now he’s trying to take over Race for the White House. Rachel is the only one who even tries to stand up to him … the other panel members (and David Gregory) seem, for some unknown reason, to be in awe of him.
Joe Scarborough must have QUITE a contract with MSNBC! He somehow gets away with universally boring, and more often than not, caustic and puerile commentary, not to mention rampant absenteeism (three weeks and growing). It appears that this man has something “on” MSNBC other than just a “contract”. Altogether, Mika Brzezinski, Mike Barnicle, Chris Matthews, Andrea Mitchell and even Pat Buchanan make up a good mix for “Morning Joe”. MSNBC needs to wake up and stop smelling the rank “Morning Joe coffee!” Also, I agree with Barbara. Too many people on the show enable Scarborough like he is either really hot stuff or has some kind of perverted magic and they are afraid to challenge him. Bravo Rachel Maddow!
Mika Brzezinski should join Mr. Scarborough on indefinite hiatus unless she can form more substantial opinions than hmms, ohhs and noos whilst others are stating theirs. If her job is to pose suggestively and to treat the guests like children she’s earning her money but the concept is so annoying the show is unwatchable.
I think something has been going on between Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough. I’ve never heard of 3 weeks off for a baby.

MSNBC seems to be in constant trouble with its early morning news people from Don Imus to Joe Scarborough. For the moment, since Scarborough has returned, it appears his recent hiatus must have been due to conflict with someone on the Morning Joe program. That being said, the alleged conflict was not important enough for the network to pay him off and/or fire him. To speculate, his problem is with Mika Brzezinski. Suffice it to say, Mika’s current coyness appears to be a cover-up to dampen her attention-demanding and somewhat controlling personality. Often, she seems to gleefully walk all over Scarborough and certainly threatens his persona. However, what is this man Scarborough really worth to MSNBC? Zilch! He is too much of an intellectual pygmy!
Joe’s baby was born premature and was very ill. That’s why he was out for 3 weeks.
Lord, Please, How long will this loud, obnoxious, ego-driven idiot be allowed to ruin this morning show? I continue to be astounded that MSNBC permits this mess of a personality to run over everyone. I tell myself that someday he will be gone. Perhaps he will at least agree to stop telling us about “when he was in Congress” and we can hear the truth about WHY he left. Ship him to Fox where he belongs. If it’s way damn too early=it’s too damn long with Joe.
I understand that TV commentators hold and do express bias for a particular political candidate on the air. I’m bored to death hearing about Joe’s republican days in congress. His obnoxious and condesendinding treatment of other commentators is discourteous and disrespectful. He needs to tone down his “on the air” retoric ot run again for congress where his ideas may be appreciated by some of his fellow republicans.

Joe makes HIS show unbearable to watch. When he was out, it was a reprieval. When his is there, I can’t watch the show. It’s hard enough when Pat Buchannan is ALWAYS on MSNBC programs. Get rid of them both. Create a new morning show with someone who is rational and reasonable. Joe Scarborough…YUK!!! Pat Buchannan…YUK!!!
I am so sick of Joe Scarborough I will be glad when his contract is up everyone should write msnbc and tell them enough is enough of his remarks.

Joe Scarsborough is a loud mouth know-it-all. He totally disrespects Mika and guests that appear on Morning Joe. I must agree with others, sometimes I hate to watch the show when he’s there….he works overtime trying to be the center of attention. He also has a real problem with saying President Obama, he will use the President’s full name anytime he refers to him…..watch him!!!!!!
At 6:00 I look for Morning Joe on my bedroom T.V.I am a very conservative woman and enjoy the show. Joe, you have to speak up more for the conservatives. MSNBC is a liberal channel, so we need more of you. I watch Fox most of the time, but only yours in the morning. I know Mika is a liberal, but I like her. A very interesting show. Keep up the good work.
