However, Tom Perriello has been 1/3 of the margin of victory on Health Care Reform and the Energy Bill, two of the most important issues facing our generation. He's providing the strongest progressive leadership we could possibly get out of the Fifth district right now and he's the only freshman Democrat elected from a district that voted for McCain that voted in favor of both these bills. I'd like to have him around for another couple of years so that he can help tackle other major issues facing the country, and if that means he's going to have to vote on some bills differently than I'd want him to than so be it. Nobody's perfect. Give him a break. Look, I understand your frustration. Sometimes there are issues which are tied into legislation that makes a vote one way or the other neccessary to a particular politican that appears to go against the grain. I suggest if you are truly Tom's friend, then reconnect with him and ask him outright about his vote. Adam
